Abstract

At the root of the progress of any society is the education system there and the criterion of progress is also education. The more a nation encourages education, the more it will develop. What kind of mental or intellectual awareness the nation wants to bring to its citizens depends on that national education policy. Making citizens mentally rich or providing spiritual strength depends on the education policy of that country and its implementation. After so many years of independence, neither could the country prosper materially nor spiritually. One of the main reasons behind this is not to encourage innovation. In the greed of material wealth, we did not pay enough attention to intellectual property. It is ironic that Intellectual Property has not been given any place in the curriculum from primary education to higher education. As a result our new generation lags behind in understanding the importance of intellectual property. The main objective of the present article is to present the small and important facts related to intellectual property in the simplest form so that students of every level can benefit from it and can earn physical property by taking advantage of the rights related to intellectual property.
